One of the best aspects of being a photographer is that, if you’re lucky, your clients invite you into their life for every important, life changing and wonderful moment. I am one super lucky photographer because Rianna and Sergio have done just that! I was blessed to take Rianna and Sergio’s maternity photos and last week I was blessed to photograph their 7 day old baby girl Presley Clare (how beautiful is that name??)! Here are some highlights from our morning together! Thank you for stopping by! For information on booking a session check out the Marisa Belle Photography website! xo, Marisa
A couple weeks ago I photographed James and his family, this past weekend I got to photograph his first birthday party! The party was held family’s beautiful Arcadia home. The party’s theme was music, Dara and Jonathan even had a music class lead by the lovely people at Music Together!
Check out some of the photos from the party!
I’ve known Haley and James for some time now, our friendship formed through parties and ASU tailgates, all very non-baby type activities. But now with the birth of their first child, Eva Jane, EVERYTHING has changed…for the better. Eva is absolutely perfect and her parents have switched gears from a couple without children to parents so seamlessly, that even though she just arrived, it’s clear that they’ve been ready for her for a long time. Congratulations Haley and James, your baby girl is just beautiful!
I met Dara at a VERY large baby play date at a mutual friend’s house about 6 months ago and we just clicked. Not only was she super welcoming and friendly but we also could relate to each other, having gone through some similar baby stuff. I told my friend Ali that same day that I wanted to be friends with Dara and that we should all do lunch. Since then Dara has been part of my mommy support squad and I cannot thank her enough for her friendship during times when I thought I was going to lose my mommy mind.
Needless to say I was thrilled when she asked me to photograph her beautiful family! James turns 1 on October 8th and even though I have an adorable baby boy of my own, James’ sweet face and magnetic personality gives my Jack a run for his money.
We went to a local North Phoenix wash/field for our session. Dara and Jonathan were such troopers as I guided them out to an area of the field that can only be described as jungle-esque (complete with jungle-esque mosquitos to boot). The location made for beautiful photos, but I’m pretty sure I could have taken this family anywhere and had the same result.
Happy First Birthday James!! xo

Thank you for stopping by!
When Sarah and Jordan asked me to photograph their Sedona I was thrilled! Not just because the Sedona backdrop instantly makes photographers drool, but because I fell in love with the two of them during their engagement shoot.
Sarah and Jordan exude love for each other, they could have gotten married in the back alley of a restaurant and I would have been able to take amazing photos for them. They. Made. My. Awesome. Job. Even. Better!
Their glorious day started, as any Arizona wedding day starts…at the pool!
The beautiful flowers were put together by a family friend.
Sarah wore a gorgeous, form fitting Nicole Miller Bridal gown. With Steve Madden shoes and smelled like the ultimate blushing bride thanks to Dolce & Gabbana.
And get a load of the party dress and Ivanka Trump blue suede shoes!!
Sarah gifted each bridesmaid a lovely bracelet from Frances a local Phoenix boutique.
The wedding bands were thoughtfully chosen and absolutely gorgeous!
Everyone wanted to be a part of helping the bride get ready, even Jackson, the 15 month ring bearer.
One of the lovely flower girls getting her hair done by her aunt.
Taking some time out to write her dedicated bridesmaids a thank you note.
It’s an inside joke…
You have to have a shot of something on your wedding day! I learned about the rumchata shot, looked delicious. I’ll have to remember to order one when I’m not behind the camera 😉
Then I got to hang with the boys for a bit…always a good time!
So it started with this face…
And ended with this… I guess you had to be there 🙂
The handsome groom. Check out that bow tie!!! LOVE so unique!
The shoes! Love the Vans! This couple know how to pick shoes!
So much fun!
Yep they all had different Vans!
Doesn’t get any cuter than this. Period.
On our way to the first look!
Oh the excitement!
Loved his reaction!
We must take a moment to appreciate the baby suspenders.
The gorgeous bridal party in all their good looking glory!
And now some alone time.
The reception was held at the very romantic Tlaquepaque.
Sarah and Jordan included a lovely tribute to Sarah’s mother, Jean, also known as Queen Jean.
Some lovely reception details.
Um how cool is this cake?!?
Sarah’s mother had an assigned seat for the ceremony.
Let the ceremony begin!
Sarah was escorted down the isle by her father.
It’s official, Sarah and Jordan are married!
The reception was full of love, laughter and toasts. This couple is so blessed to have such an amazing group of people who love and support them!
The first dance was Justin Timberlake of course!
The party dress was a surprise for Jordan!
I can’t say this enough! Thank you Sarah and Jordan for asking me to be a part of your special day! May you have a hundred years of happiness, good health and love. Oh and babies! 😉
Thank you to Katie at Roundlens Photography for letting me second shoot for L and B’s engagement session! This sessions was split between some of the best spots in Old Town Scottsdale and a gorgeous field near a local resort. L and B were pros and kudos to B for being such a great sport throughout the entire shoot! Such a beautiful couple!
